KR is a 28-year veteran of the Canadian festivals and events industry having worked on the design and development of many of Whistler’s legendary events including the World Ski & Snowboard Festival, Crankworx, the Whistler Summer Concert Series and Whistler Live! – Whistler’s 27-day live site program during the 2010 Winter Games. Over the course of her career, she has booked hundreds of diverse performances and is responsible for programming and producing some of Whistler’s most iconic live shows like the WSSF Nickelback concert in 1998, Michael Franti and Spearhead’s first performance in Whistler in 2000, and the 2010 post-gold-medal game performance with Blue Rodeo in Village Square.
Other career highlights include positions as a Pique Newsmagazine columnist, a broadcaster with Mountain FM and Whistler FM, sponsorship sales and host at Resort TV, and Canadian corporate sales and sponsorship agent for the global entertainment agency, The Agency Group (now the Paquin Entertainment Group).
