My name is Danny Long, Director of Golf at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club. I began my career in the golf industry as a Assistant Golf Professional at Fairview Mountain Golf Club in Oliver BC, where I spent 12 years, I became Head Golf Professional in 2009 until I left in 2015 as my family moved to Vancouver, BC. I became Director of Golf at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course until 2021 before starting in the role of Head Professional here at Chateau Whistler, becoming Director of Golf this past October. My family has grown to love living in Whistler, my wife Jessie who works here remotely and 4 year old daughter Stevie join me in renewing our love of skiing and hiking, and all that Whistler has to offer.
